Minnesota United has landed Danish winger Bashkim Kadrii from FC Copenhagen on a year-long loan deal.

The 25-year-old winger has spent his professional career in Denmark, having played for three clubs, but found playing time limited with Copenhagen after suffering an injury in his first season with the club.

“Bashkim is another really good attacking piece we have added to the club. He’s fit and healthy and ready for a new challenge,” said MNUFC head coach Adrian Heath in a club release. “He can play any of the forward positions, left, right and through the middle. He’s got an eye for goal and good pace and we are really excited to have him.”

Kadrii and his new club will open the MLS season March 3 against Portland.
