Midfielder Kevin Molino and goalkeeper Patrick McLain have both been traded from Orlando City to Minnesota United in exchange for $650,000 in allocation money, with $200,000 listed as targeted allocation money and $450,000 as general allocation money.
The move was largely for Molino, who will once again be working under Minnesota head coach Adrian Heath. Molino played under Heath from 2011 through 2016 in Orlando and has proven to be a steady attacking force in MLS.

“I have worked with him for five years there’s nothing I don’t know about him as a player," Heath said in a club release. "We are really excited and I know [sporting director] Manny Lagos has worked really hard to get this over the line for us, we are all delighted."
Molino netted 11 goals and added eight assists for Orlando City last season.
