Yoenis Cespedes was inspired by a parakeet to hit his first homer as a Met image

The combined energy of a neon parakeet and Yoenis Cespedes' neon fashion accent helped the Mets outfielder end his home run drought. 

Nature's feathered friend showed up early in New York's game against the Rockies on Wednesday night, positioning itself on a fence. In the eighth inning, Cespedes belted his first home run in orange and blue after 47 plate appearances. He was wearing a neon sleeve on his left arm. Coincidence? We think not, and neither does Cespedes.
