Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig will not be disciplined for his role in a Miami bar fight in November, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday.

Puig was involved in an altercation with a bouncer when he was asked to leave the Blue Martini bar Nov. 25 following an argument with his sister. Puig reportedly had shoved the woman, which later prompted an investigation under MLB's new domestic violence policy.

MLB, in a statement announcing its decision, cited a lack of evidence.

"The Office of the Commissioner's investigation did not uncover any witness who supported the assault allegation; both Puig and his sister denied that an assault occurred; and the available video evidence did not support the allegation.  Thus, barring the receipt of any new information or evidence, no discipline will be imposed on Puig in connection with the alleged incident."

Puig's case is one of three domestic violence-related investigations baseball has opened this offseason.

Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman was suspended 30 games for his role in an October domestic dispute. Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes was placed on paid leave for an October incident with his wife in Hawaii. His punishment is pending a resolution of his legal case.
