Yasiel Puig hasn't been hitting well as of late, so he went to extreme measures to solve the problem.

Yes, that is an electric stimulation machine being used on his — and teammate Kike Hernandez's — bats. These machines are typically used for pain treatment and relief on humans, but the slumping Dodgers hitters figured they'd see if it could help out their hitting sticks. Turns out, this might be an effective method.

Heading into Friday night's game, Puig had three hits in his last 27 at-bats (.111). But after the electric stimulation of his bats, Puig went 3-for-5 against the Cardinals including a home run.

Puig should make this part of his pregame routine.
