The Royals aren't quite in a must-win situation yet, but they'll have plenty of confidence entering Game 2 of their AL Division Series against the Yankees with Cole Ragans on the mound.

The lefty dominated the Orioles last week in his postseason debut and will need more of the same against a Yankees lineup that produced in Game 1 despite an 0-for-4 day from Aaron Judge (he did walk and score, however).

New York sends out veteran lefty Carlos Rodon as he looks to continue his impressive 2024 campaign. He has been prone to giving up the longball but pitched well in two outings against the Royals during the regular season.
