The New York Yankees are off to a magnificent start to the 2024 MLB season, holding a 9-2 record through 11 games for just the eighth time in franchise history.
Even without ace Gerrit Cole, who is working his way back from an elbow injury, and without Aaron Judge being in midseason form, the Yankees are dominating the competition. They've won all three of their series thus far and have a chance to continue that with the Miami Marlins in town.

It's difficult to not see the Yankees as a top three team in MLB right now. They're putting together quality at-bats while the rotation is keeping them in games despite being without their ace.
Marcus Stroman hasn't allowed an earned run in 12.0 innings pitched, and Nestor Cortes is coming off a career outing Monday night.
The offense has been strong for the most part. Even with Judge's slow start, the Yankees are getting everything they could have dreamed of out of Juan Soto. The emergence of Anthony Volpe, who leads MLB with a .417 average entering Tuesday, has been fantastic.
The season is early, but this team has the makings of something special when they're hitting on all cylinders.
