Twins pitcher Randy Dobnak worked as an Uber driver last year while he was in the minors.
While most would see the move as an honest way to earn some extra cash, a group of Yankees fans disagreed — and tried to poke fun at the 24-year-old by chanting "Uber" during Saturday’s Game 2 of the ALDS.

Making fun of someone who is trying to make ends meet didn't sit well with people on Twitter.
Seems like every week they find a new way to remind everyone of what a terrible fan base they are https://t.co/HRfslZwJ5L

Randy is 24 and is pitching in the big league playoffs. He’s already doing better than 90% of the bums in the stands.

I'm a die-hard Yanks fan, but c'mon... Having a job that works around your passion is nothing to be ashamed of.

Yeah you got him good for *checks notes* struggling until he made it to the major leagues something none of them have ever even been close to doing

After the 8-2 loss, Dobnak said he wasn't bothered by the chants.
“I figured that was going to happen before the game,” he said. “I talked to the bullpen catcher [and asked him], ‘How many Uber chants are we going to get tonight?’ It doesn’t bother me.”
And just in case the MLB thing doesn't work out for Dobnak, he can still go back to Uber, with which he has an excellent 4.99 rating.
