New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe is enjoying a fantastic start to the season, and it's earned him a promotion to the leadoff spot for Wednesday night's game.
As the Yankees look to sweep the Miami Marlins at home, following another series win under their belt, Volpe has been at the heart of the team's success throughout the early part of the campaign.
Whether this is a long-term development remains to be seen, but Volpe will get the chance to lead off in front of superstars Juan Soto and Aaron Judge during Wednesday night's game.

Marcus Stroman looks to stay hot
Stroman has been the most consistent pitcher for the Yankees to begin the season. He's tossed 12.0 innings thus far and hasn't allowed an earned run. In both of his outings, he got the ball to the bullpen in the seventh inning and after the magnificent starts from Nestor Cortes on Monday and Carlos Rodon on Tuesday, Stroman has a chance to solidify the sweep.
