It's a whole new ballgame in the  2019 World Series .

Thanks in big part to MVP candidate Alex Bregman, the Astros have tied the Fall Classic at two games apiece. Bregman's seventh-inning grand slam off of Fernando Rodney pretty much put the finishing touches on the Game 4 win in Washington, while the Nationals were sent searching for offensive answers for a second straight game.

The Nationals have one more shot to win a home game in 2019 and put themselves in position to head back to Houston with a series lead, squandering the 2-0 lead they had heading home. They'll have a good opportunity to do it, with Max Scherzer toeing the rubber, who is coming of a good-not-great Game 1 performance, allowing two runs in five innings of work.

MORE WORLD SERIES:

• Five defining moments in Astros' Game 4 victory over the Nationals

• Three takeaways from the Astros' World Series Game 4 rout of the Nationals

Scherzer is opposed by Houston co-ace Gerrit Cole, against whom he faced off in Game 1 of the World Series. Washington was the first team to get to Cole in five months, tuning him up to a five-run loss and stealing Game 1 in Houston.

With the ultimate game at Nationals Park underway tonight, can the Nats defend home turf, or will the Astros continue their road-warrior ways?
