Thirty years later, it's time for a Royal paradde.
Kansas City will celebrate its first World Series championship since 1985 with a parade and victory rally today.
The parade will start at noon CT next to the Sprint Center and cover 2.3 miles before finishing at Union Station. A stage will be set up in front of the train station, and the rally will begin at approximately 2 p.m. CT.

WHEN IS THE ROYALS' WORLD SERIES PARADE?
The celebration will be televised locally on Fox 4 and Fox Sports Kansas City. MLB Network and ESPN likely will pick up at least part of the festivities for national broadcast.
The parade will follow a similar route to the 1985 celebration, which drew an estimated 250,000 fans.
