Cleveland Indians right-hander Danny Salazar will be available for the first time this postseason as manager Terry Francona announced Monday the pitcher will be included on the team's World Series roster.

Francona is making light of Trevor Bauer's gruesome drone repair that forced him to exit Game 3 of the ALCS prematurely when the cut on his pinkie re-opened, spewing blood on his jersey.

Salazar, who hasn't pitched since Sept. 9 with a strain to his right flexor musculature, has progressed well through his rehab and is ready to throw 65-70 pitches in a game, Francona said.

The right-hander was 11-6 with a 3.87 ERA and 161 strikeouts this season, but struggled since the beginning of July, allowing 36 earned runs in 10 starts (7.36 ERA). He could start Game 4 over young southpaw Ryan Merritt.
