The Indians trailed 6-3 entering the inning. Jon Lester, who had pitched three innings of relief, gave up a single, which prompted manager Joe Maddon to bring in Chapman, Brandon Guyer hit an RBI double, and Davis followed with a 369-foot homer over the left-field fence to tie the score.
