CHICAGO — Every time the Cubs win at Wrigley Field, Steve Goodman’s anthem “Go, Cubs, Go” blares from the loudspeakers, and thousands of joyous Chicagoans sing along. Some love the song, some are a little tired of it, but everyone knows it and they’re all glad to hear it at the end of a game.

So, before the first World Series game at Wrigley since 1945, I conducted a little sing-along. Cubs fans all around the park sang the song, all hoping to hear it again and sing again joyously later on Friday night.

Enjoy!
