CLEVELAND — The Indians’ first inning went from bad, to worse, to much worse in Game 6 of the World Series.

The Cubs struck first with Kris Bryant two-out solo homer. That’s bad. Chicago added two more baserunners in Anthony Rizzo and Ben Zobrist. That’s worse.

Addison Russell hit a fly ball to medium right-center field, but neither right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall nor center fielder Tyler Naquin made a play on the ball. Was there a miscommunication on the play?

Two runs scored, the second when Zobrist collided with Indians catcher Roberto Perez at home plate.

That’s much worse. Chicago took a 3-0 lead in the inning.
