It appears there might be a spot for Ricky Vaughn on the Indians' World Series roster after all. Charlie Sheen indicated in a tweet overflowing with "Major League" references that he was headed to Cleveland ahead of Wednesday night's World Series Game 7 at Progressive Field.

"My back is packed, and help is on the way!!" Sheen tweeted, roughly 12 hours after mocking the Indians on social media for falling in a 7-1 hole in Game 6, with the implication that it was some sort of karma for snubbing him.

The hard-throwing ex-con Indians reliever Vaughn is one of the actor's most well-known roles, and there was a groundswell of support once Cleveland reached the World Series for Sheen to throw out a ceremonial first pitch in character. The team and Major League Baseball nixed that idea, but perhaps the Indians are pulling out all the stops now that it's do-or-die against the Cubs.

Even if Sheen/Vaughn doesn't get to throw out the first pitch before the final game of the MLB season, you can bet the Indians will find a way to work him into the scene at some point.

The Cubs have summoned their closer in the seventh inning each of the last two games. What's to stop the Indians from doing the same?
