Hawaii has been nothing short of dominant in the tournament, and that continued in a 5-1 victory over Tennessee in the U.S. final Saturday. Cohen Sakamoto pitched 4 2/3 innings, giving up a run on two hits and striking out seven. Ruston Hiyoto blasted a pinch-hit two-run homer.
Curacao blanked Chinese Taipei 1-0 in a thrilling international final earlier Saturday. Reangelo Decaster and Qshondrickson Doran combined for the shutout. Jaydion Louisa drove in the only run of the game with a pinch-hit grounder.
