Vin Scully is in his final season of his Hall-of-Fame career as the Dodgers broadcaster and apparently he is saving his best stories for last.
Scully, who told an incredible story about the No. 13 and its significance on the dollar bill earlier this week during a game with the Diamondbacks, found a way to one-up the story with a legendary tale of country-boy-turned-Giants-ace Madison Bumgarner.

How did that parable stay hidden for two years? Actually, Sports Illustrated told the story first as a part of a Bumgarner feature after he was named the 2014 Sportsman of the Year.
