Troy Tulowitzki won't be resuming baseball activities for a few more weeks.
The Blue Jays shortstop will miss the remainder of the regular season due to a small crack in his left shoulder blade.

"I feel a lot better. I mean, I can lift my arm now. Before I couldn’t even move my arm,” Tulowitzki told reporters Saturday, via Sportsnet. “Every day I feel like I’m making strides. I’m definitely headed in the right direction."
The Blue Jays are hopeful Tulowitzki will return in two to three weeks, though the team has yet to set a specific date.
"I’m in waiting mode. There’s no plan. No date set," Tulowitzki said. "You don’t want to throw a date out there and have people expecting you to return — and then you’re not there because you’re not ready. We’re just trying to speed up the process. That’s definitely the goal. But anytime there’s a fracture, you don’t want to rush it."
Tulowitzki cracked his scapula last Saturday when he collided with center fielder Kevin Pillar in the first game of a doubleheader against the Yankees. He also suffered some internal bleeding near the injured area.
He was hitting .232/.314/.368 and a .682 OPS in 39 games since joining Toronto at the trade deadline in July.
