Tigers trade rumors: 'Rebooting' team makes David Price, Yoenis Cespedes available image

The struggling Tigers have decided they are "rebooting and will make pitcher David Price, slugger Yoenis Cespedes and others available before Friday's non-waiver trade deadline, according to multiple reports.

Several teams are thought to be willing to give up multiple top prospects for the lefty ace, according to multiple reports. The Tigers have reportedly put him on the market just 48 hours before the non-waiver trade deadline along with slugger Yoenis Cespedes.

The Dodgers, Yankees and Blue Jays have shown the most interest in the 29-year-old Price.

The Yankees reportedly are not interested in dealing top prospects right fielder Aaron Judge, starting pitcher Luis Severino, first baseman Greg Bird and shortstop Jorge Mateo, according to NJ.com.

The Tigers are currently 49-52, 12 games behind the first-place Royals. The non-waiver trade deadline is 4 p.m. ET Friday.

Price, a five-time All-Star, is 9-4 and 2.35 ERA for Detroit this season. He will be a free agent after this season, so there are questions as to how much any team would really want to give up for a player that may only be with the team for a few months.

Cespedes, 29, acquired in a trade at last year's deadline, also will become a free agent after the season. He's batting .289/.321/.500 with 17 home runs and 58 RBIs this year and immediately becomes one of the biggest bats available on the trade market.

Just remember that the Royals gave up three prospects for Johnny Cueto, who will also be a free agent heading into 2016.
