Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wants Astros fans to know he doesn't predict playoff games.

During Monday's ALDS game between the Astros and Royals, Abbott appeared to tweet out a congratulatory message to Houston for advancing to the ALCS — and then the comeback started. Kansas City scored five runs in the eighth inning and tacked on two more in the ninth for a 9-6 come-from-behind victory.

The Royals' win tied the series at two games apiece, and Abbott was blamed for the jinx tweet.

Fire Abbott! Kick him out of the state!

Not that simple.

If you look at the bio on the @GovAbbott account, this is what you'll read: "Official news from the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott. You can follow the governor's personal feed@GregAbbott_TX."

Then you head over to Abbott's personal account.

Maybe the real jinx here was the Houston bullpen. But I don't study the dark arts of baseball and Twitter.
