Astros to Twitter trolls: About that Taylor Swift tweet … image

So the ALDS-bound Astros knew they were "the team of the future" late in 2014.

Back to December: The Astros tweeted a brief note about the team's 2015 schedule at Minute Maid Park, an innocent, just-in-case FYI: The Taylor Swift concert scheduled for Oct. 13 was subject to change, should the team be in the postseason.

Bear in mind, the Astros lost 92 games in 2014, which actually was an almost 20-game improvement over 2013's 51-111 mark.

Twitter had a field day.

Welp.

The developments, beyond Tuesday's AL wild-card victory: The Taylor Swift concert was rescheduled to Sept. 9. The Astros won't have a home playoff game next Tuesday, but a potential Game 4 of the ALDS is set for Monday at Minute Maid Park.

Note to trolls: Shake it off.
