Starlin Castro made history Wednesday, driving in five runs against the Astros and becoming the first Yankee with seven RBIs in his first two games with the club. His parents were in the city, but decided it was just too cold to come to the stadium.
"They watched the whole game," Castro said (via the New York Daily News). "They celebrated when I came back home.

Castro is also only the fourth Yankee to drive in seven runs in the first two games of the season, joining Babe Ruth (1932), Yogi Berra (1956) and Tino Martinez (1997).
Ironically, Castro’s parents did make it to opening day at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday when temperatures were even colder than Wednesday, never getting above 40 degrees after grounds crews spent hours before the game clearing the field of ice.
