Savannah Bananas Salt Lake City tickets 2024: Dates, cheapest price, best seats on StubHub for Utah baseball game

Baseball is coming to Utah. 

Not an MLB expansion team — at least, not yet — but rather the always-exciting, equally-entertaining Savannah Bananas. 

As a part of their 2024 World Tour, the Bananas are bringing 'Banana Ball' to Salt Lake City for two nights in August. They will compete against the Party Animals at Smith's Ballpark on Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31. 

Smith's Ballpark is the home of the Salt Lake Bees, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, and the Utah Utes collegiate baseball team. Its capacity is 14,511 fans.

The Savannah Bananas will play at Smith's Ballpark in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31. Tickets for those games are available for purchase on StubHub.

Savannah Bananas baseball rules

The entertaining and creative 'Banana Ball' has 11 rules, which are displayed below. 

1. Every inning is worth one point. The team that wins the inning gets the point for that inning. In the last inning of the game, every run counts.
2. A new inning cannot be started after two hours of game time.
3. A hitter cannot step out of the box. If a hitter does step out, a strike will be added to the count.
4. A hitter is not allowed to bunt.
5. A hitter is allowed to attempt to steal first base on any pitch of an at-bat.
6. There are no walks. If a pitcher throws four balls, every defensive player on the field must touch the ball before it becomes live. A hitter can advance to as many bases as possible.
7. Catchers and coaches are not allowed to visit the mound.
8. If a fan catches a foul ball, the catch results in an out.
9. If the game is tied at the end of the time limit, the Showdown Tiebreaker will decide which team wins the game.
10. Each team is allowed to challenge one ruling on the field (fair/foul ball calls, force/tag play calls and catch play calls). Fans will also have the ability to challenge one ruling during the game.
11. The Golden Batter Rule allows a team to send any hitter to bat in any spot in the lineup. It can only be used once per game.
