Mets general manager Sandy Alderson fainted while talking to reporters just after the conclusion of a press conference Wednesday morning to announce manager Terry Collins' new contract.
Several reporters tweeted about the incident that occurred while Alderson was talking to print reporters off to the side after the formal press conference had finished.

Alderson was asked about Juan Lagares seeing a doctor today. He paused to think how to answer, turned white, and slowly started to fall.

Sandy joked afterward "OK, where were we?" But questions obviously stopped. He sat in a chair for a moment, then left room.
