Ryan Braun entered Sunday's game against the Phillies knowing his next home run would tie him with Robin Yount for the all-time Brewers career home run mark.

Braun reached the record in dramatic fashion, blasting a grand slam to left center off Phillies starter Aaron Harang in the fifth inning for career home run No. 251. It was his 21st homer this season.

The slugging outfielder needed 4,633 career at-bats to reach the mark, compared to 11,008 for Yount.

Yount, who played his entire 20-year career with the Brewers, is one of the most beloved players in team history. Braun, of course, stirred controversy a couple of years back when he lied about his PED use and served a 65-game suspension.
