Royals World Series parade and rally: Time, route, TV coverage image

Kansas City will celebrate its first World Series championship in 30 years with a Royals parade and victory rally Tuesday.

The parade will start at noon CT next to the Sprint Center and cover 2.3 miles before finishing at Union Station. A stage will be set up in front of the train station, and the rally will begin at approximately 2 p.m. CT.

The celebration will be televised locally on Fox 4 and Fox Sports Kansas City. MLB Network and ESPN likely will pick up at least part of the festivities for national broadcast.

The parade will follow a similar route to the 1985 celebration, which drew an estimated 250,000 fans.
