Robinson Cano left Saturday's game against the Angels after being hit in the head with an errant warmup throw. He was tested for a concussion, but the team is listing him as day-to-day with a forehead bruise.
Before the seventh inning, the Mariners second baseman was hit by a throw from Angels rookie shortstop Taylor Featherston that sailed over the head of first baseman Albert Pujols. Cano was leaning against the railing of the dugout and it caught him right in the forehead, leaving a large lump. Deadspin has a wide-angle video of the incident.

Cano was 0 for 3 on the day before being replaced by Willie Bloomquist. He's had a rough go of things in 2015, slashing .246/.284/.356 with just four homers and 24 RBIs entering Saturday.
The 32 year old told reporters after the game he believes he'll be able to play Sunday, but he'll need plenty of ice. The swelling had gone down significantly by the time the game ended.
