While Boston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas hasn't appeared in a game since late April, he's still been in the spotlight with his mid-game interviews from the dugout and post-game interviews for NESN.
Now, with the league's best heading to Arlington, Texas for the All-Star Game, Boston's first baseman is joining them, but not as a player.
According to The Boston Globe's Pete Abraham, Casas is set to provide some coverage for the MLB on their digital platforms.
“Just something I want to try and have some fun with,” Casas told Abraham on Saturday. “I’ll interview some players and do other things.”
The 24-year-old has provided some entertaining moments on the mic this year, so his interviews and segments with players throughout the week will be must-watch.
