He's allowed hits to three Athletics in his career - Bleday (1-for-5 with a walk), Langeliers (1-for-4) and Nevin (2-for-5 with two RBIs and a walk).
Sears has been all right for Oakland in his 18 starts, recording a 4.74 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP with 68 strikeouts. He threw five scoreless innings while allowing two hits and striking out six against the Los Angeles Angels in his last appearance. He's allowed hits to just two Red Sox in his career - Devers (1-for-3) and Gonzalez (1-for-1).
