After the Boston Red Sox suffered a 2-1 loss on Saturday against the Detroit Tigers, the two teams will meet again on Sunday at Comerica Park for the finale.
For the matchup, Boston will send Cooper Criswell to the mound while Detroit will counter with Beau Brieske.

Criswell has been all right for Boston this season, posting a 4.34 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP while striking out 61 batters in 21 appearances (15 starts). He's allowed one run in each of his last two starts. Three Tigers have recorded hits against him in his career - Riley Green (1-for-2 with an RBI), Zach McKinstry (1-for-2) and Matt Vierling (2-for-3).
Briekse has performed similarly for Detroit in his 34 appearances (seven starts), posting a 4.44 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP while striking out 54 batters. He's allowed four earned runs in his last seven innings pitched. Three Red Sox have recorded hits against him in his career - Triston Casas (1-for-1), Rafael Devers (2-for-4) and Jarren Duran (1-for-3).
