After the Boston Red Sox defeated the Texas Rangers 11-6 on Friday night, the two teams are meeting again on Saturday at Globe Life Field for the middle game of the series.
For the matchup, Boston will send Tanner Houck to the mound while Texas countered with Cody Bradford.

Houck has been impressive for Boston this year, posting a 2.79 ERA (fifth in baseball) and a 1.11 WHIP while striking out 116 batters in his last 21 starts. In his two outings since the All-Star break, he's allowed eight runs (seven earned) on 12 hits and seven walks while striking out just four. He's given up hits to three Rangers in his career - Adolis Garcia (1-for-3 with a solo home run), Jonah Heim (1-for-3) and Marcus Semien (1-for-8 with an RBI).
Bradford has made just four appearances this season (three starts), allowing nine runs (eight earned on 15 hits and three walks while striking out 19. His last outing was in relief where he gave up five earned runs to the St. Louis Cardinals. He's only ever faced one Red Sox in his career - Dominic Smith (1-for-2).
