After a day off, the Boston Red Sox have traveled to Arlington, Texas for a three-game series against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field starting on Friday.
For the matchup, Boston will send Kutter Crawford to the mound while Texas will counter with Jose Urena.

Urena has been really good for Texas in his 25 appearances (six starts) in 2024, recording a 3.07 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP while striking 53 batters. He's given up two runs total in his last two outings. He's allowed hits to three Red Sox in his career - Devers (2-for-6), O'Neill (2-for-4 with a solo home run) and Smith (3-for-15 with an RBI).
