After the Boston Red Sox took the first two games of their series against the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park, the two teams will meet again for the finale on Wednesday night with Boston having a chance to secure the sweep.
For the matchup, Boston will send Tanner Houck to the mound while Texas will counter with Dane Dunning.

Houck has been great for Boston this year, posting a 3.02 ERA (ninth in baseball) and a 1.14 WHIP while striking out 124 batters in 23 starts. In his last outing against Texas, he allowed six runs on eight hits and two walks in a 7-4 loss. Seven different Rangers have recorded a hit against him in their career - Ezequiel Duran (2-for-3 with an RBI), Adolis Garcia (2-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk), Jonah Heim (2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs), Josh Jung (1-for-5), Marcus Semien (2-for-11 with an RBI), Josh Smith (1-for-3) and Leody Taveras (1-for-1 with a solo home run and three walks).
Dunning has been all right for Texas, recording a 4.77 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP while striking out 78 batters in 20 appearances (12 starts). He tossed two scoreless innings against Boston earlier in the month in an 11-6 loss.
