After the Boston Red Sox defeated the Miami Marlins 7-2 on Wednesday, the two teams are meeting again on Thursday for the series finale.
For the matchup, Boston will send Nick Pivetta to the mound while Miami will counter with Kyle Tyler.

Pivetta has been all right for Boston this season, posting a 4.52 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP while striking out 68 in his 12 starts. His last outing was the third time he's given up five runs in a start this year. Four Marlins have recorded hits off of him - Josh Bell (1-for-3 with an RBI and two walks), Jake Burger (1-for-2), Jazz Chisholm Jr. (1-for-4) and Nick Gordon (1-for-2 with a walk).
Tyler has been good in his three appearances (two starts) this year with Miami, recording a 3.38 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. He's yet to give up more than two runs in an outing. No Red Sox have ever faced him.
