The Boston Red Sox enter the final contest of their three-game series with the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday afternoon at Progressive Field.
Boston will have Rafael Devers play designated hitter for the second game in a row while Chase Anderson will be on the bump.

Anderson has made six appearances this season all out of the bullpen, posting a 2.77 ERA and a 0.846 WHIP in 13 innings of work. Starting isn't new to him, as he's started in 200 of his 224 career games in the MLB. Only three Guardians have recorded hits off of him - Gabriel Arias (1-for-1 with an RBI), Bo Naylor (1-for-1) and Brayan Rocchio (1-for-1).
Triston McKenzie will be starting for Cleveland. He's posted a 5.00 ERA and a 1.61 WHIP through his first four starts of the season. Only two Red Sox have ever had hits off of him - Refsnyder (1-for-4 with a solo home run) and Dalbec (1-for-3 with an RBI).
