After the Boston Red Sox dropped the middle game of the series to the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-6 on Saturday at Dodger Stadium, the two teams will meet on Sunday for the finale where Boston will try to avoid the sweep.
For the matchup, Boston will send Kutter Crawford to the mound while Los Angeles will counter with old friend James Paxton.

Crawford has been good for Boston this season, posting a 3.04 ERA (15th in baseball) and a 1.04 WHIP (13th) while striking out 110 (tied for 31st). He hasn't allowed a run in his last 15 innings pitched. He's allowed hits to Cavan Biggio (1-for-4), Freddie Freeman (2-for-3), Teoscar Hernandez (2-for-6 with a walk) and Miguel Rojas (1-for-2).
Paxton has been solid for Los Angeles in his 17 starts this season, recording a 4.38 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP while striking out 57 batters. He's allowed three or fewer runs in five of his last six starts. The only Red Sox to record a hit off of him in his career is Devers (7-for-17 with an RBI and a walk).
