After the Boston Red Sox lost both games of the doubleheader to the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday, the two teams will meet again Tuesday night at Fenway Park.
For the matchup, Boston will send Cooper Criswell to the mound while Toronto will counter with Yariel Rodriguez.

Criswell has been all right for Boston this season, posting a 4.41 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP while striking out 61 batters in 20 appearances (14 starts). He allowed one run on four hits and a walk over 4 2/3 innings in his last outing. Four Blue Jays have recorded hits against him in his career - Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (1-for-4), Alejandro Kirk (1-for-3), George Springer (1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk) and Daulton Varsho (2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs).
Rodriguez has been similar for Toronto in his 14 starts in 2024, posting a 4.40 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP while striking out 63 batters. He's given up nine total runs on 10 hits and four walks over 9 1/3 innings in his last two outings. He's never faced any Red Sox batters in his career.
