Boston Red Sox infield prospect Blaze Jordan has been having a solid year when he's on the field, hitting .253 with a .703 OPS, seven home runs, 51 RBIs and two stolen bases.
Unfortunately for Jordan, who is the organization's 26th-ranked prospect (via. Sox Prospects), he's had some bad injury luck in 2024.
Earlier this season, he broke his finger on a play at the plate, costing him significant time. Then, he took a fastball to the face in a recent game.
Blaze Jordan just can’t catch a break in 2024.

First his finger and now this. Best wishes to him on a speedy recovery.

Jordan posted that picture after the game, which looked rough, but he seemed to be in good spirits.
Baseball is rough sometimes🤣 97 to the face didn’t feel too great, but all part of Gods plan! Be back soon!❤️ pic.twitter.com/bBCphzkmxZ
