The Boston Red Sox enter Friday night with a chance to take the first game of their three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, California with Kutter Crawford on the bump.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora made just a small change to the lineup since their last game against the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday - Tyler O'Neill will play in right field instead of Wilyer Abreu.
- LF Jarren Duran
- 3B Rafael Devers
- SS Trevor Story
- DH Mastaka Yoshida
- RF Tyler O'Neill
- 1B Triston Casas
- 2B Enmanuel Valdez
- CF Ceddanne Rafaele
- C Reese McGuire
Crawford looked strong in last performance against the Seattle Mariners, allowing just one earned run and striking out seven in six innings.
As for Boston's lineup, only four of them have hits against Angels starter Griffin Canning - Casas (1-for-2), Valdez (1-for-3), Devers (1-for-6) and Story (2-for-3 with two RBIs).
A win in this matchup would make it five in a row for Cora's squad.
