You've probably seen men holding a baby catch foul balls, and even home runs at Major League Baseball games.

MORE: Should we expect these struggling MLB stars to bounce back?

But just like you've seen a beautiful sunset, and a brilliantly turned double play, you're always ready to see another one.

Justin Kirkpatrick provided the latest man-holding-baby-makes-great-catch gem Friday night at Chase Field. When D-Backs catcher Wellington Castillo launched a home run to left in the fourth inning off Jonathon Niese, Kirkpatrick reached up in the left-field stands and grabbed the ball with his right hand. In his left hand, 11-month-old baby Ryker seemed barely jostled by the catch.

"I just saw it coming and kind of reached up and it fell into my hand," Kirkpatrick told a Root Sports reporter who tracked him down in his seat during the game.

The Diamondbacks were so impressed with the catch, stadium personnel took the baseball and had Castillo autograph it for Kirkpatrick. He might have preferred to have all the Pirates autograph the ball considering he's a Bucs fan.
