Pete Rose isn't in the Baseball Hall of Fame because of his permanent ban from the game after he gambled on the sport, and he slipped in a subtle joke about it Tuesday night.
The former player and manager is an analyst for Fox Sports, and during Tuesday's broadcast he was discussing his tactics at the plate. He said he always guessed fastball because all you need is three hits every 10 plat appearances for a .300 average, which is seen as the benchmark for success.

Then, he added the punchline.
