Following the resignation of their manager and the hiring of a new team president, the Phillies are a team in flux.

At least they'll have the same field manager for the rest of the season. Bench coach Pete Mackanin was named interim manager following the surprise resignation of manager Ryne Sandberg on Friday. The Phillies announced Tuesday that Mackanin would skipper the team for the remainder of the season.

The Phillies announced Monday that Andy MacPhail will replace Pat Gillick as president at the end of the 2015 season.

With a 27-51 record heading into Tuesday night's game against the Brewers, the Phillies own baseball's worst record. McPhail will spend the remainder of the season evaluating the team's personnel, both on and off the field, so more changes are inevitable.
