Having already offered and reportedly pulled a massive contract offer for Chris Davis, it appears the Orioles have turned their attention in another direction.

According to ESPN.com, Baltimore offered free-agent outfielder Yoenis Cespedes a five-year deal in the $75 million to $90 million range Thursday.

It's believed the Orioles have grown tired of Davis' contract demands, the report said, and the team is closing the door on re-signing the slugger altogether. Baltimore originally offered Davis $154 million over seven years but reportedly has since pulled that deal off the table.

Cespedes really came into his own last season. After impressing with the Tigers during the first half of the season, he was traded to the Mets in July and played like a man possessed. The Cuban slugger finished the regular season with a .291/.328/.542 slash line, 35 home runs and 105 RBIs.

Davis enjoyed a bounceback season last year after really struggling in 2014. He hit .262 with 47 home runs and 117 RBIs last season but would likely see those power numbers decrease away from Camden Yards' right-field porch.
