The New York Yankees reinstated relief pitcher Nick Burdi from the 15-day injured list, the team announced Friday.

Burdi has been on the injured list since April 19 due to right hip inflammation. He pitched in a rehab game at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, striking out the side in his only inning of work.

In 6.1 innings pitched, Burdi hasn't allowed a run. He's given up two hits and five walks while striking out eight batters.

The Yankees also announced that infielder Oswald Peraza will continue his injury rehab assignment in Double-A Somerset. He went 2-for-3 with a home run and a stolen base in his first rehab game in Low-A Tampa.

He's dealing with a shoulder strain he suffered in spring training.
