New York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres exited Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles due to a groin injury.
Torres was replaced by rookie Ben Rice, who moved to first base. Third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera took Torres' spot at second base with DJ LeMahieu going to third.
Torres was taken out in the top of the sixth inning when the Yankees took the field for defense. He made an error in the top of the fifth inning, but it wasn't clear if it was due to injury at that time.
A mid-game update provided by the Yankees was that it was a tight right groin injury.

Torres was set to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning before being taken out. He was 1-for-2 with a solo home run before exiting.
