Disrupting a pitcher's rhythm during his delivery will result in hilarity, we learned Tuesday.

During the Nationals-Royals game, Washington pitcher Tanner Roark had his motion disturbed when Jarrod Dyson called a late timeout. Roark had already started his pitch and tried to let up when he saw the umpire call time and, well, the ball went sailing into the stands.

Thankfully for Roark, the pitch didn't count.
