Red Sox hitters young and old are unstoppable right now. One of the young studs, outfielder Mookie Betts, clubbed three home runs Tuesday night against the Orioles.

No. 3, a solo shot against Baltimore reliever Dylan Bundy, gave the Sox a 6-2 lead in the seventh inning.

Betts homered in each of the first two innings off O's starter Kevin Gausman; he has 12 homers this season.

In all, Boston hit four round-trippers in its 6-2 victory.

As good as Betts was Tuesday, he's just a cog in Boston's offensive machine. Shortstop Xander Bogaerts extended his hitting streak to 24 on Tuesday with a hit. Outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. reeled off a 29-game hitting streak that ended last week. Designated hitter David Ortiz is batting .335.

Random trivia: The Orioles were the victim the last time a major league player hit four homers in a game: Josh Hamilton went deep four times for the Rangers in Baltimore on May 8, 2012.
