In-game player interviews are usually boring and full of cliches. But finally — finally! — something interesting happened during one Tuesday as Mookie Betts was interviewed as he played right field during the Red Sox's game with the Cubs. And he displayed brutal honesty when the Cubs' Kris Bryant hit a liner in his general direction.

It's made all the more entertaining by the laughter and in-progress advice from the announcers:
"Get on your horse."
"Don't miss the cut-off."
He did (figuratively) and he did (literally).
Of course, these types of in-game interviews are pretty much limited to exhibition games (we also saw it in last season's All-Star Game), as players and teams would never want the distraction during a game that mattered. Still, it's a nice change of pace from the usually uninspiring in-the-dugout interviews we get during the regular season.
That was fun. Baseball should always be fun, y'all.
