There have been many gripes about the new uniforms MLB is using this season, and New York Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodon's jersey was the latest subject of roasts from the fans.
Rodon, who made his first start of the season Friday night against the Houston Astros, was clearly laboring through his outing. The thin jerseys did nothing to help keep the sweat away. It looked as though he jumped in a pool before going to mound each inning.
It was so bad that Rodon had to change jerseys in the middle of his outing.
Looks like Carlos Rodón got himself a new jersey for the 4th inning. #Yankees https://t.co/mzJ4zpIiMw

Fans, of course, took to social media to roast the jerseys:
Watching Carlos Rodon sweat through his crappy Fanatics jersey is embarrassing. How did MLB let this happen?

They had 6 weeks to fix it after spring training started. Pathetic.

Carlos Rodón looks like he jumped in a pool with his uniform on. i can’t get over how bad these yankee uniforms are. the sweat stains, the fit, even the color seems a bit off. #Yankees

Carlos Rodon looks like his mom made him keep his shirt on in the pool, even though it offers no additional UV protection. pic.twitter.com/DvllohBCol
